Because of you, Tamera Discovered What Was Missing
See how she found a deeper way to experience God’s presence.
Every day, your support creates moments that change lives.
Sometimes those moments happen through a song that speaks directly to a listener's heart, or through a testimony that offers Hope at just the right time.
And sometimes, they happen during an ordinary drive to work when God uses worship to draw a listener closer to him.
That's what happened for Tamera.
For years, she battled episodes of depression. She loved the Lord and trusted him through every season. She prayed faithfully. She spent time in God's Word. Yet the darkness would still return.
There were times when it was almost suicidal.
Eventually, medication helped ease the severity of those struggles, but the battle never seemed to completely disappear.
Tamera was driving to work before sunrise, facing another difficult season and feeling herself slipping into a familiar place of discouragement. She turned on her car radio and heard Worship 24/7 for the very first time.
As the music filled her car, her attention shifted from her circumstances to the Lord. The heaviness that had followed her for so long began to lift.
It broke, she says. The depression, the oppression. The more I began to worship, the more I could really feel God's presence.
As she continued listening day after day, God began showing her something she had never fully understood before. She'd found something that was missing from her spiritual life. Tamera continues:
I knew how to pray. I knew how to read the Word, but I didn't really have a private worship life.
The song "Even If" by MercyMe deeply impacted her. The lyrics reminded her that God is worthy of praise whether circumstances change immediately or not. That truth transformed the way she approached difficult days.
Instead of focusing on the darkness, she learned to worship through it.
Even if I feel like I'm in a dark place, I am going to stop and worship.
Since that morning, Worship 24/7 has become part of her daily routine. During her hour-long commute to and from work, worship fills her car and keeps her eyes fixed on Jesus. More importantly, it has cultivated a deeper relationship with God.
Today, whenever someone tells Tamera they are struggling with depression or discouragement, she offers the same advice that changed her life. Don't give up prayer. Don't give up the Word. Just start to worship the Lord because the enemy can't stand in the presence of God. And as Tamera reminds us:
The Lord inhabits the praises of his people. When we worship him, his presence is there.
Because of your generosity, Worship 24/7 is reaching people in moments when they need God's presence most. Through every song, every testimony, and every broadcast, you're equipping listeners to discover the life-changing power of worship and draw closer to Jesus.
More Ways to Worship. More Lives Reached.
How your impact is growing through Hope Media Group
When Worship 24/7 became part of Hope Media Group earlier this year, one thing didn't change: the commitment to leading people to experience God's presence through worship.
What did change is the number of ways we're able to serve listeners through your support. Like this listener, who recently shared:
"When I'm overwhelmed, I can just turn on Worship 24/7. Even though everything is going on, and it's hard, I know God is with me."
This year, listeners have connected through a new Worship 24/7 app, an updated website, expanded listening options through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new texting platform, and the launch of the World's Biggest Small Group podcast.
The prayer ministry has grown, as well, as a result of joining the Hope Media Group family. More than 18,000 prayer requests have been shared through the Prayer Wall, and listeners have offered over 132,000 prayers for one another.
New signals in Tallahassee and additional HD signals in major cities including New York, Nashville, and Houston are further expanding the reach of the ministry.
Most importantly, lives are being touched, listeners are finding Hope, recommitting their lives to Christ, and even making first-time decisions to follow Jesus.
Thank you for giving so more people encounter God through worship – and for being part of this exciting new chapter.

For the Joyful and the Weary
Meet JJ – and discover why worship matters in every season.
If you've listened to Worship 24/7 recently, you've probably heard a new voice on the air.
Jillian "JJ" Simmons may be new to Worship 24/7, but her passion for helping people connect with God through worship has been growing for years.
When asked what she loves most about serving listeners, her answer reveals a lot about her heart for ministry.
"When I come into work, I think about the person who woke up today with so much joy they could burst, and I think about the person who woke up and could barely get out of bed," she says. "Both of you are tuned in. Both of you matter."
That perspective shapes every day behind the microphone for her. No matter what someone's experiencing, worship is an opportunity to draw near to God.
You could be celebrating or grieving, thankful or struggling to find the words. Worship is still available to you. God receives all of it.
For JJ, worship is more than a favorite song or a powerful moment. It's surrendering our attention on God and remembering who he is. It's why she loves Worship 24/7.
She points to a quote from worship scholar Constance Cherry that has deeply influenced her thinking:
Worship is first and foremost for God's benefit, not ours.
We worship God because he is worthy. So we come before him with gratitude, trust, praise, and adoration – not because life is perfect, but because he is.
That's the heartbeat behind Worship 24/7. Every song, every testimony, every encouraging word is meant to help listeners shift their focus away from circumstances and toward God. "My personal goal every single day I'm on the air is to help you draw closer to God," JJ says. "Not closer to a feeling but closer to him."
Hear JJ every weekday afternoon on Worship 24/7. And thank you for keeping the worship going in every season.
Grow Deeper in Your Faith
John Wants Others to Find What He Did
Why John Supports Worship 24/7
John and his wife, Beth, know what it means to walk through a difficult season.
For years they cared for their son through serious medical challenges, including multiple organ transplants. When their son passed away, they faced a grief no parent ever expects.
Through that season, Worship 24/7 became a source of comfort and strength.
The songs reminded John of the Lord's faithfulness when answers were hard to find. They lifted his eyes from his circumstances and focused on God's presence in the middle of the pain.
Today, that experience shapes why John gives to Worship 24/7. He knows that other listeners are facing their own difficult seasons. Some are grieving. Some are overwhelmed. Some simply need a reminder that God is near.
John supports Worship 24/7 because he wants others to experience the same encouragement, comfort, and Hope that carried him through.
He writes…
When you've experienced God's faithfulness for yourself, you want other people to experience it too.
Thank you, John, for giving so more people encounter God's presence through worship.
We'd love to hear why you give too. To share your story, email donorcommunications@hopemediagroup.com

A Note from David Harms
One of the blessings of becoming part of Hope Media Group is the opportunity to witness more people not only worship God but grow deeper in their relationship with him.
As I listen to stories like Tamera’s, I’m reminded that worship is never an end in itself. It draws us closer to Jesus. It leads us to trust him more fully. It shapes the way we live every day. That’s my prayer for you. Whether you’re listening during a joyful season or a difficult one, may worship continue to point your heart toward God’s faithfulness and his presence.
Thank you for supporting Worship 24/7 so others can encounter God through worship every day.
With gratitude,
David Harms
