God Changed the Script on Brandon’s Life

God Changed the Script on Brandon’s Life

For Brandon, Worship 24/7 became part of a renewed life of faith, gratitude, and surrender to Jesus.

See how your generosity helped put worship within reach when Brandon needed it most

For Brandon, life had become increasingly difficult to manage.

He struggled with drug and alcohol addiction. His mental health declined to the point that he was hospitalized. Eventually, his family gathered at their church for an intervention.

That became part of a turning point.

Brandon began receiving care and slowly rebuilding his life. And along the way, Worship 24/7 became part of his daily rhythm.

As a musician, worship music connected deeply with him. He especially found himself turning to Worship 24/7 while driving. When his thoughts felt heavy, or his circumstances became overwhelming, your support helped point him back toward God through Worship 24/7.

God has really changed the script on my life, Brandon says.

Being able to get into my truck and know I’m going to turn on something that is good for me and good for my soul – that’s what I want.

One song in particular became especially meaningful: “Heart of the Father” by Ryan Ellis.

During a painful season, the song reminded Brandon that God had not abandoned him. Instead, he began to recognize that God had been near all along… and that he needed to stop relying on himself and fully reach toward him.

Brandon continues…

The song helped me know that God wanted me to reach out to him and that he had always been there.

That shift began to reshape the way he prayed, the way he worshiped, and the way he saw his future.

Today, Brandon says he is sober from drugs and alcohol. His health and sleep have improved. His marriage has been renewed, and his children are seeing a different example of faith in him.

He has also returned to serving through music, joining his church worship team as a guitarist and backup singer, as well as a worship group made up of other fathers.

When I listen to Worship 24/7, I get the motivation to keep moving forward and not let life overwhelm me… I know I’m still not perfect, but I’ve erased four major addictions, and I don’t even think about them anymore. I know it’s due to Christ.

And Brandon wants you to know that your generosity has a real place in stories like his.

Worship 24/7 relies on supporters just like you and me to keep the party going and make it bigger than ever. Through the stories, the songs, and the people who volunteer, I can confidently say that my life has changed.

God is changing lives like Brandon’s, and through your generosity, you’re part of what he is doing. You put Worship 24/7 within reach in ordinary moments, difficult moments, and moments when someone needs to turn their heart toward Jesus again.

Thank you for helping keep worship going 24/7

You Were Made to Worship

You Were Made to Worship

What has your heart’s affection, your mind’s attention, and your soul’s ambition?

BY JAKE SCHWEIN, ON-AIR HOST

Everyone worships someone or something.

We don’t actually get to choose whether we worship, because worship is part of who we are. Whatever has your heart’s affection, your mind’s attention, and your soul’s ambition is what you worship… even if you don’t use that word.

So the real question isn’t if we worship. It’s what we put at the center of our worship.

In Exodus 32, the Israelites faced that choice at the base of Mount Sinai. When Moses was gone longer than they expected, they lost trust. They took their jewelry, melted it down, and made a calf to worship as their god.

They didn’t stop worshiping. They just changed their focus.

The same can happen to us. If God isn’t at the center of our lives, something else will take that place. It might be a job, a relationship, or even one of the good things God has given us. Anything can become what we worship.

So what do we do about that?

Paul gives us an answer in Romans 12:1:

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice – the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

That’s what worship is really about.

It isn’t limited to singing a song or listening to music. Worship is about how we live every day. It means offering every part of our lives to God.

Your sleeping. Your eating. Your work. Your conversations. Your ordinary routines. Even the broken, confusing, and difficult moments.

Worship isn’t simply a feeling we try to find. It’s a life we give fully to God.

So here’s a question worth considering:

What might change if you began to see your whole day… every moment… as an offering to God?

This is what you and I were made for.

Listen for Jake on Worship 24/7, and let worship help turn your attention toward God throughout the day.

Practical Help. Lasting Hope.

Your support is reaching families with practical care and encouragement.

According to the National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN) Diaper Check 2026, nearly 1 in 2 U.S. families struggle to afford enough diapers to keep their baby healthy and comfortable.

This September, Worship 24/7 partnered with WayFM, Vida Unida, and the NDBN for the World’s Biggest Baby Shower, a special opportunity to help meet a very real and practical need for families in local communities.

And listeners like you responded.

A total of $39,602 was raised with the participation of over 380 donors. This provides 141,400+ diapers to help supply families who need them most.

It’s a beautiful picture of what it means to live a life of worship. When you give, you put your faith into action to help make it possible not only for people to encounter God through worship, but also to experience his love through compassionate care, generosity, and community outreach.

Thank you for helping Worship 24/7 serve so many families in meaningful ways.

A Better Word for Every Day

Christy Worship 24/7

Worship 24/7 helps Christy carry God’s truth with her throughout the day.

Why Christy chose to support Worship 24/7

Life can be hard. Difficult jobs, strained relationships, family pressures, and daily challenges can quickly pull our attention away from God.

For Christy, listening to Worship 24/7 helps change the atmosphere of her day.

"Worship 24/7 creates a space for God in my daily life. It helps me grow spiritually. And instead of reacting emotionally, it allows my day to start in the presence of God."

As she listens, the songs become more than something she hears in the moment. Their truth stays with her, giving her something to return to throughout the day.

"Every day, every minute, we have to be reminded of who God is. The songs echo through the night. We are hearing a better word."

That’s why Christy decided to give during a Worship 24/7 Support Drive. She wanted someone else facing a hard day to have the same opportunity to turn toward God through worship.

Her encouragement to others is simple:

"Give somebody else that opportunity to hear a better word."

When you give, you do exactly that. Your generosity keeps Worship 24/7 commercial-free, creating space for someone else to worship, remember who God is, and carry his truth into the rest of their day. Thank you for making that possible.

A Note from David Harms

Worship 24/7 was founded with the belief that all of life is worship. What we do when the music ends will shape how we follow and worship Jesus in the hours and days that come after.

That’s the heart behind the World’s Biggest Small Group. Since January, it has been giving Worship 24/7 listeners more ways to go deeper in their faith beyond what comes through the speakers.

And I want to personally invite you to be part of it.

Whether you have a question you’ve been wrestling with, want to spend more time in God’s Word, or simply need encouragement to keep growing in your faith, the World’s Biggest Small Group was created with you in mind.

You’ll find more than 50 online Bible studies, livestream times of prayer, daily encouragement on social media, and a weekly podcast that tackles real questions like:

  • Why does God seem distant?
  • How close are we to the return of Jesus?
  • Why am I so anxious?

The World’s Biggest Small Group will never replace the local church. But my hope is that it can be a place where you continue to learn, pray, grow, and belong between Sundays.

I hope you’ll check it out and find something that encourages you right where you are.
