Lonnie Arnold – Believable Unity In A Racially Divided World

Is there believable unity in a racially divided world? Can racial reconciliation happen in the church?

This week's Go Deeper message comes from Lonnie Arnold who is the associate pastor at New Salem Baptist, a predominantly black church in Tacoma.

Recently, Lonnie invited a few white pastors and some fellow black pastors to join him for a conversation. That initial exchange led to further gatherings as they helped each other broaden their perspective, and that first group has expanded to six groups of multiethnic pastors talking, growing, and dreaming about what churches working together could mean in our community. He is currently the founder and director of the Racial Reconciliation Network.
